A sense of personal agency is probably the most important thing we can have as a person, next to the desire and propensity to feel good and be in alignment with Unconditionality, or Source Energy, and harness the Law of Attraction. Agency in a general sense is defined as having a combination of self-awareness and an ability to change or shift our perspectives, emotion, and behavior to be more in accordance with what is good for us and our well-being. Most people derive the majority of their sense of personal agency from how others respond to them and this seems to be a good guide when you are not aware of yourself as an extension of Source Energy. However, there is a major issue with this: what if other people's responses to us aren't honest and only serve their purposes? Furthermore, what if they are honest, but their response still only serves their purposes and is not truly conducive to our well-being?
What if I told you that everyone's responses to you are designed to serve their purposes, regardless of if it is honest or conducive to your path and your well-being? Well, this is the truth of it. How others respond to us is always about serving their purposes, even if it genuinely does come with the best of intentions. Where this can get really messy very, very quickly is if their responses to us don't have the best intentions for us. Sometimes, people just want you to validate their disconnected perspective or sense of superiority. Sometimes, they don't want you to know what their real intentions are or they want to knock you down a peg so they can feel better. Other times, their response to you can be about getting you to behave in a pleasing way for them. This is the case most of the time, actually.

So, how do we navigate this all, then? Even if you don't buy that we're always being guided by Source Energy in our thoughts to allow well-being for ourselves and others, we all still feel an emotional response to our own thoughts and behaviors. Herein is where we find our own true sense of agency: our own emotional responses to our behavior. Even before you begin acting on a thought or idea, you know whether a choice or behavior is conducive to your well-being, or the well-being of others or your relationships with them. You can even guage how conducive it will be, generally speaking. Now, assuming that the reason you're even on this website or reading this article is because of the fact that you do believe or know that Unconditionality is always guiding our thoughts towards well-being, let's take a look into the concept of agency from a vibrational or Law of Attraction perspective.
Unconditionality, or Source Energy, is always guiding our thoughts towards our well-being. So, not only does this serve us in the sense that we can guage how conducive our choices in behavior serve our well-being or the well-being of others, it also serves us in the sense that we can guage how conducive our thoughts are to our point of attraction. This means that we can sense, through our emotion, how much each thought we think allows or disallows well-being for the things we attract into our life experience and our choices in behavior. This is the truest essence of what self-trust actually is; this is how fine-tuned our emotional guidance system is for the well-being of our life-experiences. True agency is not and never has been about how others respond to us. It has always been about how in or out of alignment each thought we think, idea we generate/attract, and choice in behavior we make is.
Mastering this ability of personal agency gets really fun when we consider the emotional scale in regards to it. This is because we can guage how in alignment with our truest desires each thought we think is and, therefore, how much each thought is building momentum in the direction of our expansion or in resistance to it. The lower the emotion, the stronger momentum we are building in resistance to our expansion and the well-being of our life-experience in general. Furthermore, making our choices in behavior harder and harder to be conducive to the well-being of ourselves and others. The higher the emotion, the stronger momentum we build towards our expansion and well-being. Therefore, making it easier and easier to choose to behave in ways that encourage that well-being.
Obviously, even if we're building momentum in a negative direction, we don't have to choose to act on every thought or emotion that we have. We don't have to choose to act or react poorly to situations even if we're feeling quite insecure or powerless (very low vibrations) at any given moment. However, just because we aren't over-reacting or making a mess of ourselves in our choices in action doesn't mean we have access to the best choices in action or the best possible solutions/guidance in regard to where we're currently standing. Yes, by choosing not to act on heavier negative emotion, we a lot of times save ourselves a lot of trouble. However, the true advantage to having an awareness of our connection to Unconditionality when it comes to our personal sense of agency is that we have the aformentioned awareness of the momentum that we're building in thought-energy. Therefore, we know how in or out of alignment our thoughts are with our own personal desire for love and for the well-being of ourselves, of others, and of everyone, really.
What this implies is that we can actually have agency of not only how we choose to behave towards ourselves or others but also how much we are working for or against how much well-being we are allowing for our life-experiences as whole - through our emotional responses to our own thoughts. So, to truly begin harnessing this depth of agency, begin really paying attention to how each thought you think feels. Which direction is this thought moving you? Is it causing more restriction or resistance within you? Or is it causing a broadening or sense of relief? How high or low are you on the emotional scale right in this moment? This sense of awareness can also inform you whether or not it even serves you to focus on a given subject in the sense that if you're activating something with a lot of negative momentum, it probably isn't going to serve you to even think about it at the time being. It even allows you to understand whether or not something even has to be addressed or not, or if the way you're feeling about something is coming from someone else's perspevtive or your own. Sometimes, different things we focus on aren't even relevant to us or our expansion if we tend to pick up a lot of other people's thoughts. This vibrational sense of agency allows you access to all of this information.
When we really start to harness our personal sense of agency and, therefore, our vibration, we allow ourselves the ability to pretty consistently build momentum in a positive direction. This allows us more and more access to more and more thoughts that bring more and more potential goodness and well-being into our life-experiences, and by virtue of this, the life-experiences of everyone in our lives and even the positive energy of the collective. Since we exist in a literal field of consciousness and our minds are sort of receptors to vibration, yes, the positive momentum we build in our own vibration has a positive effect on the momentum of the collective. The benefits of developing this deeper sense of personal agency in consideration of ourselves as an energetic being, or extension of Unconditionality, are quite literally limitless. So, not only does this truer sense of agency benefit our behaviors and relationships, it benefits the entirety of our own life-experience and the expansion of our human consciousness. Sounds like a pretty good idea to harness it, now doesn't it?
